Aman's Worlds, Web Art, 2005
Aman Haas was born in Holland in 1969 and live in Amsterdam. After having studied photography he started travelling with the intention of putting he's skills in good use. Instead he discovered painting as a means of creating images that could not possibly be made by photography. Once started he couldn't stop: I just had to put down these images I saw. It started with acrilyc on canvas, and a lot of energy and patience. At one point I turned to the computer and got excited by the possibilities it offers. First I was painting images with Photoshop. Then I lost myself completely in 3-D animations, which gave me a lot of headache. Now I'm back to digital painting, mostly in Painter, and I enjoy it alot. I've had several succesful exhibitions in galleries in Amsterdam. At the moment I'm turning my focus more on getting my work published. |
