DISCUSSION FORUM: A PROPOSAL

The Association of Ancient Students of University Arts School of Coimbra is promoting a digital Festival for Digital Arts. It's hour goal to incentive creation on new supports, such internet, photography and video. Also is our intent to promote some discussion about the internet art world and how artists see the art in the new millennium.

In the past ten years internet has been conquered by artists that seek new forms and new ways to promote their art.
This important and contemporary look, step forward on the search of new explorations of the medium internet: new forms of art arrive; internet art, web art, email art, flash art, etc, all exploring new frontiers between technology and creativity.
With these new forms what could became art? Pure technology? Pure manipulation of digital forms? Pure concept?
