The Ancient's Students Association of the Arts University of Coimbra presents the 2nd Edition of FONLAD, the On Line Festival for Digital Arts.
Still in embryonic form and in full expansion, this edition of Fonlad will keep the format of the first edition, that it occurred in November 05: the version on-line of the event will count whith a virtual gallery of presentation of artistic proposals, a newsletter, one blog, an open forum and two exhibitions: one in the Bissaya Barreto's Foundation, in Coimbra and another one in the Block of the Arts, Montemor-o-Velho, near Coimbra.

Virtual Gallery (no fee under selection):
•  Web Art - artists only have to present the index and the link for the page. It will be presented in JPEG format ( Print Screen of index ). This will be the image published in the page of the festival, with respective link. Images must not exceed 1 MB.
•  Email art - The following formats are allowed: JPEG ( photograph and digital painting ), MPEG and FLX ( video and animation ).   - All the works must not exceed 1 MB.
Each work must be followed of a presentation text (10 lines). The same it will be published in the page of the festival.
Bissaya Barreto's Exhibition:
•  Photograph and digital painting (fee 30€ under Curator's decision): The participants in photography and digital painting on email art could also present their works to the exhibition: all the materials must be submitted to the curator's decision. If selected the artist must send the value of 30€ , paid by Paypal , in order of Association of Old Students of University Art School of Coimbra. This value is for the impression of the image in format 50 cm in any side. All images must have the follow: 15cm maximum in each side at 300dpi (no more then 1 MB). •  Video and animation (selection under Curator's decision. No fee): The selected videos and animations will be presented integrated in an installation (in TV set or screen projection ).
The works will have to be sent to the Association up to 30 of September of 2006 , for the following address: info@aaa-euac.org . The works received after this date will be excluded from the festival.
